Beethoven interpreted by two artists

It is quite amazing how different the same piece of music can sound if it is performed by two different artists. Here are two videos of artists performing the 3rd movement (Presto agitato) of the Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor «Quasi una fantasia», Op. 27, No. 2, by Ludwig van Beethoven, popularly known as the Moonlight Sonata (»Mondscheinsonate« in German).

In the first video you hear Murray Perahia:

In the second video, Valentina Lisitsa performs the same piece of music but in a very different style. The difference is quite obvious, isn't it?
